Château la Connivence
A new Star is born in the mythical Pomerol appellation : Château la Connivence. The name is directly inspired by the complicity and the passion shared by four oenophile friends. The decisions of the owners are motivated by the small size of the estate (1.45 ha) and of the vineyard (90 ares) : they have chosen the quality, the rarity, the top-of the-range. 2500 bottles only of 2008 vintage will be produced.
Château La Gaffelière
Through the presence of its vines since the Gallo-Roman era, its name dragged from the leprous hospital or « gaffet » in the mediaeval epoch, and the owners grand genealogy ; the Malet Roquefort family, living for 4 centuries in Saint-Emilion, is acknowledged as the most ancient family of the area.
This is in 1999 that Alexandre de Malet Roquefort takes under one’s wing the Château Armens. Formerly Château Bonnet d’Armens, this vineyard – located in the small village of Saint-Pey d’Armens, a two-step from Saint-Emilion – belonged since many generations to the Bonnet family.
